Put our website enquiries and content plan on our Notion board

If your website runs on bernard, Sasha can make a Notion card for each website enquiry, registration and content calendar entry. Your team works the cards on the board. When someone drags a content card to Done or Skipped, Sasha marks the entry in bernard's calendar the same way.

You need to be a Sasha admin, or staff who can manage shared drives. Notion must be connected with Read and write access. You also need the owner of the bernard account for one step in bernard. For the full steps, see the product guide page on website events.

Set it up in chat

  1. Ask Sasha, for example: "Send website events from our bernard site to Notion."
  2. Sasha shows a consent sentence: the personal data that goes to Notion, and that Notion Labs, Inc. (United States) receives it. A Confirm box shows in your chat. Press Confirm only if you agree. Nothing is set up before that.
  3. Sasha gives you a webhook address. In bernard, the account owner asks the bernard assistant to save a webhook to that address. Choose form.submitted for enquiries and registrations, and the three calendar events for the content calendar. bernard shows its own consent sentence, then shows a signing secret once.
  4. Paste the signing secret into the Sasha chat. Sasha stores it encrypted and never shows it again.
  5. Tell Sasha which board each kind of event goes to, for example: "Put new enquiries on our Inbound board, and the content calendar on our Content board." Sasha reads each board's columns and tells you where new cards go.

Sasha sends nothing for a kind of event until you choose a board for it. There are four kinds: enquiries, event registrations, new contacts and the content calendar. Most teams leave new contacts without a board, because every new contact would make a card.

For the content calendar, name two columns Done and Skipped, or tell Sasha which columns mean done and skipped.

Let Done and Skipped reach bernard

Moves in Notion reach bernard through Sasha's bernard connection. Add bernard once in Settings → Tools → Custom MCP Servers, with "bernard" in its name. For how to add a connection, see Connect third-party tools to Sasha. Without it, cards still arrive, but moves in Notion do not change bernard.

Check that it works

Open Settings → Shared Drives, and open Website events on the Notion card. It shows each website, its boards, the last card, the failures with their reason, and whether moves in Notion reach bernard. One switch per website turns its events off. Nothing in Notion is deleted when you switch it off.

You can also ask Sasha: "Are website events working?"

What it does not do

  • Only moves to Done and Skipped go back to bernard.
  • Deleting a calendar entry in bernard does not remove its card.
  • Deleting a contact in bernard does not delete its card in Notion.
  • Sasha never adds columns or properties to your board.

For where Sasha keeps your data, see Where your data lives in Sasha.

Questions

What do I ask Sasha?

Ask in chat, for example "Send website events from our bernard site to Notion". Sasha walks you through the steps.

What personal data goes to Notion?

An enquiry or registration card holds the person's name, email address, company and message. A calendar card holds the entry's title, date and type. Notion Labs, Inc. (United States) receives and stores this data under its own terms.

How fast do cards arrive?

Usually within about a minute. A move to Done or Skipped in Notion reaches bernard within about five minutes.

Why does a move in Notion not reach bernard?

Only moves to Done and Skipped go back, and only for cards Sasha made. Sasha also needs its bernard connection in Settings → Tools → Custom MCP Servers. Without it, the Website events section in Settings says that moves do not reach bernard.

If I delete a contact or a calendar entry in bernard, is the card deleted?

No. The card stays in Notion. Delete it there too.

Will Sasha change our board's columns or properties?

No. Sasha writes only to properties that already exist on the board.
