Find what we already know about a topic, with sources

What you get

A short summary of what your organisation already knows about a topic. Each point names the document it came from, so you can open the source and check it.

Use it before you start new work, so you build on what exists instead of repeating it.

Before you start

You need access to the projects that hold the documents. Sasha searches only what you can reach. Admin and staff accounts can reach every project, members' homes included. For how projects work and who can reach them, see How Sasha organises your knowledge into projects and documents. For what Sasha is and what Sasha holds, see What Sasha is and what Sasha holds.

Start it

In the Sasha web interface

Open a project chat and paste the prompt. Replace [topic] with your topic. Chat in the Sasha web interface is for admin and staff accounts; members use Sasha from Claude (Connect Claude to your Sasha).

From Claude

Connect Claude to your Sasha first (Connect Claude to your Sasha). Then choose Find what we already know from the prompt menu and type your topic.

What Sasha does

  1. Searches for documents about your topic. Sasha searches the projects you can reach. For admin and staff accounts, that includes members' homes.
  2. Reads the documents that match best.
  3. Writes a short summary and lists each document used.
  4. Says plainly where your knowledge has nothing on the topic.

Questions

Does Sasha search documents I cannot open?

Sasha searches only the projects you can reach, so another person can get a different answer to the same question. Admin and staff accounts can reach every project, members' homes included.

What happens if Sasha finds nothing?

Sasha says so. Sasha does not fill the gap with general knowledge unless you ask for that.

Does this change any documents?

No. This recipe only reads.
