PR Agent
The PR Agent watches the news about you, your clients, your competitors and the people you know, and tells you who to contact and why.
Status: in development. We have already run a daily news report of this kind for one business. Agent Creator will make it an agent for your business.
The PR Agent reads the news so that you do not have to. Each day or each week it checks the news about the companies and people that matter to you. It joins each story to what Sasha already knows about your relationship with them, and tells you who to contact, why, and what to say.
What it answers
- What did the news say this week about us, our clients and our competitors?
- Which story is a reason to contact someone, and which can wait?
- Have we worked with this person or company before? When, and on what?
- How has our own coverage changed over time?
What you get
- One short report each day or each week. A summary, then the stories ranked by priority, the people and companies mentioned, and the sources that were checked.
- Your history with each name. For each person or company in the news, Sasha finds your past work with them in your own documents.
- Messages ready to send. A draft for each top opportunity, with a timing label, for example "send in the next 48 hours". You edit and send it.
- Requests to paste into Sasha when you want to research a story further.
How it ranks a story
Each story gets a priority from two things: how much the news matters, and how strong your relationship is. A warm relationship with important news comes first. A cold contact with small news comes last.
What it needs
- A list of what to watch: your own name, your clients, your competitors and the people you follow. Sasha suggests the first list from what it already knows.
- Your relationship history: your documents, your client list or your CRM.
- Sources of news. A news search service gives the best results. Public feeds and websites also work.
What comes next
The first version reports and drafts. The PR Agent will also:
- keep a notebook of every story, so the same story does not come back, a follow-up shows as an update, and a story in eight outlets shows once, with the count;
- track your own coverage over time: how often you are mentioned, and in what tone;
- send with your approval, and record the reply, so you can see which contacts led to work.
