Using Amazon Bedrock with Sasha

Sasha can run its AI processing through Amazon Bedrock in your organisation's own AWS account.

What Bedrock mode is

In Bedrock mode, the AI model that answers your team's questions runs inside your AWS account. Your data is not transferred to third-party AI services. If you also host Sasha in your own private cloud, your information does not leave your environment.

What changes for the administrator

  • Your organisation needs an active AWS account with Bedrock access enabled.
  • Your IT administrator configures the connection between Sasha and your AWS Bedrock service.
  • AWS bills your account for AI usage. There is no markup.
  • You can track AI usage in your AWS console, set limits, and apply AWS budget controls.

What changes for users

Nothing changes in the interface. Your team continues to use the Sasha chat interface. Example questions:

  • "What was our approach to the Johnson project last year?"
  • "Find all contracts mentioning data security requirements"
  • "Summarize our compliance procedures for new team members"
